Stephen Vitiello is an electronic musician and media artist. For over 15 years he has been
collaborating with visual artists, musicians and choreographers. More recently, he has focused on solo and group exhibitions of his sound installations, photographs and sculptures. Past and ongoing collaborators include Scanner, Pauline Oliveros, Tony Oursler, Nam June Paik.
CD releases include Scanner/Vitiello (Audiosphere/Sub-Rosa), Bright and Dusty Things (New Albion Records), Humming Bird Feeder ver. 02 with Tetsu Inoue and Andrew Deutsch (Lucky Kitchen). Exhibitions include Galerie Almine Rech, Paris, The Project, NY and the Cartier Foundation, Paris.





Maybe Waterfalls- Vibrö 3 (track 1)
“Maybe Waterfalls” is an extended version of what was first a very short soundtrack for a video by Patrick Power.
The waterfall recording may have been most connected to Patrick’s images but it seems also to fill a space that I like without picture. The other sounds are original but I’m not sure where they came from. Mixed during a late-night processing session on a recent trip to Rome where my computer kept me company in a long night of insomnia.” SV
