Lunching, Laughing,
Learning - Vibrö 1 (track 12)
A conversation between Bruce McLean and David Proud, remixed by Trio
Cutty Sark, 1999.
“
I really liked how Bruce and David talked, rather than what they talked about”,
so I asked
them to sit down and just talk about anything they liked. The location was a
quiet corner in a
canteen - at off-peak times. The result was a 45 minute long conversation and
not much
sense. Through the editing and shortening of the original recording and the use
of background
music, I altered the meaning and locus of a conversation, which never took place
as we hear it
here.” -Wilken Schade |
